Train birthday

Chugga chugga!! These cupcakes are so adorable with the handpainted chocolate trains!

Welcome to our blog!

We thought this would be a great way to communicate with everyone who is interested in our cakes! We also have a facebook page,  Facebook.com/MySistersCakes but as it turns out, there are 3, yup, 3 different My Sisters Cakes FB pages. So, hopefully, with the addition of this blog, we won't be confused with  any other groups!
You can contact us through this blog by leaving comments or you may email us at writemysisterscakes@gmail.com. How easy is that? Easy! We would love to hear from you!
Speaking of easy, we accept payments through Paypal! Awwwwesome! We send you an invoice and you can pay with your debit or credit card online through a secure transaction. We will still gladly take cash or check, too!
My Sisters Cakes is a team made up of a completely amazing mom, Karen,  and her two talented daughters, Amanda and Rachel. We happen to live geographically close to each other and love to work together. We all bring our own strengths to the table. We decided a long time ago that cake decorating is so much more fun when we do it together!
We are new to this blogging world, so bear with us as we change and improve our page.
Thanks for being here!!

Bridal Shower and Anniversary Cakes

All Occasion Cakes

George's birthday is the 3rd of July. How could you not have a fireworks-Star Spangled cake! We used sparklers for candles!!

A cake I made for a friend who sells Silpada jewelry. That's the company logo on top of the cake!

A giant hunk of Gouda for a wine and cheese party. We couldn't resist squeezing in a little mouse!

Birthday Cakes

Here we have an array of birthday cakes for all ages. Everything from jewelry-loving girls, to rockin' teens, and some for over-the-hill men!

Grooms Cakes

NFL lover!
For a groom who loved to travel. The stickers were actually rice paper, so everything was edible.
This groom's cake was for a friend of mine who liked to off-road. It was so much fun making little cacti!

Baby Cakes

Wedding Cakes

Here are the cupcakes for a wedding with a Japanese theme. We made little fortune cookies with the bride and grooms name as the fortune!

This bride was all about the glitz! We covered this raspberry filled lemon cake with sugar crystals to make it sparkle!

Don't you love the cherry blossom cupcakes and the candy bar? Its beautiful and fun! Perfect for a gorgeous outdoor reception.

Here are two different cakes showcasing the same technique....stenciling! So elegant and lovely!

I was thrilled to make this cake for the most adorable girl I know. She and her fiance had a cowboy wedding. I absolutely love the design of their cake. So different yet it fit them and their reception perfectly!! It was such a pleasure to do this for them!

The Bride and Groom had a beach themed wedding and wanted a cake that looked like a sand castle! The sea shells were hand-molded out of chocolate! Yummy!

For another beach theme, but a more traditional look. Again, with chocolate seashells!

This cake was covered in lavender and purple sweet peas. Classic and beautiful!
