50th Birthday surprise

This cake is for a friend's mom. They had a surprise birthday party for her at Seville Country Club. They cake turned out exactly as my friend wanted! It was so fun celebrating being 50!

Glitzy Wedding cake

The bride wanted bling. So, I covered the entire cake in giant sugar crystals and dusted it with a little edible glitter. A sparkling silver ribbon with a plum underlay is the perfect tie in to the custom silver glittered monogram.

The reception was decorated with different wrought iron pieces. The show piece that stole the show and highlighted the lemon with raspberry filling cake, was a gorgeous gazebo with an intricate chandelier.

Event for T-Mobile

T-Mobile ordered from us a new product that is so adorable and a huge hit with everyone who tries them. CAKE POPS!! This is the new big thing in treats! We made ours with gourmet toppings on the outside like nuts, chopped Andes mints, and chopped white chocolate. We also hand-piped petite designs to give them an extra umpf of flair!!

                                           They are beautiful and delicious!!

Oh! I didn't mention they ordered 16 dozen? Haha! That's a lot of cake pops! But aren't they cute? Amanda took this on and pretty much did them all. Karen and Rachel helped get them decorated and even our Grandma helped in wrapping!

Meanwhile, Rachel was busy baking 14 dozen cupcakes for the same order. Yup, thats right, that makes 190 cake pops and 168 cupcakes. Wootwoot!! (I'm tooting my own horn right now). We are are pretty much amazing.

Japanese Flair Wedding

Well, the girls at My Sisters Cakes have been busy! It's been a fun and exciting last month and I finally have time to post pictures!! Yay!! The first group is for a wedding for some very dear friends of ours. We were delighted and honored to do their wedding. Since, the bride and groom had a reception in Salt Lake City a few weeks ago with her family and friends, we decided to do cupcakes for this second event! Each flavor had its own custom hand-made decoration to distinguish the cake and filling flavor! Yummy!

Here is the entire display! With 300 delicious and totally cute cupcakes, we had to use three stands.

The family had lived in Japan for a number of years, then amazingly, the groom was called on his mission to the same area where they had once lived! Amazing! It's only fitting this reception has this theme with so much Japanese culture running through their veins. It was truly beautiful!

The little purple medallions had the kanji symbol for eternity printed on rice paper. Yup, its all edible!

Here are my favorites. Karen and Amanda found the idea and Rachel put them together. Hand-made fortune cookies out of fondant with a rice paper fortunes that say Collin and Christine Sellers   Eternity.  Awww!!

Train birthday

Chugga chugga!! These cupcakes are so adorable with the handpainted chocolate trains!
